"Early one morning we received a call from a distressed client, the owner of a national home improvement franchise company, who had just been contacted by a Wall Street Journal reporter and advised that she would be the primary focus of a soon to be published investigative article on fraud in the franchise industry.
Obviously, the mention of our client's name in the same breath as fraud would effectively destroy her business.
