JULIA CHILD
Prior to opening her own agency, Diane Blackman’s very first client in public relations was Julia Child, the iconic chef who revolutionized American cuisine. During the promotion of Ms. Child’s PBS series “Dinner at Julia’s”, Diane booked a multi-city U.S. tour and personally accompanied Ms. Child across the country. She managed all facets of the tour including securing and coordinating high profile regional and national press interviews and arranging for media to accompany Ms. Child as she visited prominent local food halls such as Philadelphia’s Reading Terminal Market.

DÎNER EN BLANC
In 2011 BRPR launched the one-of-a-kind culinary pop-up event in the U.S., starting with NY, and has helped grow DEB into a global phenomenon now held annually in 90 cities across six continents – more than 30 cities in the U.S. alone. The event wait lists are a testament to the event’s enduring popularity, with 64,000 people on the NY wait list in 2019. BRPR serves as the national AOR and the New York agency.

WAGAMAMA
BRPR is the U.S. agency for the UK-based restaurant group wagamama, whose 196 restaurants have earned something akin to a cult following among chefs and foodies. We launched its Murray Hill restaurant in spring 2019 and promoted new menu items in their U.S. locations, helping to win substantial exposure post-launch. The agency will open wagamama’s third NYC location in 2020.

LA NÛIT EN ROSE
La Nuit en Rosé is the world’s first Rosé wine tasting event with 60 wineries and wine organizations presenting more than 200 rosé wines from around the world. The results of our launch campaign for the first events in New York: record attendance, high profile expansive media coverage, triumphant branding and strong word-of-mouth. La Nuit en Rosé expanded to additional cities in the U.S. with equal success.

FEDERAL BAR
With BRPR leading the way, the Federal Bar restaurant became one of Williamsburg’s newest hotspots. We secured rave reviews and feature stories from top blogs, magazines, dailies and one of the biggest food personalities, whose You Tube channel has attracted up to 67 million views, and those were just the appetizers.

SHOCK COFFEE
BRPR launched this hyper caffeinated coffee with an ABC-TV “Nightline” story that catapulted awareness of the brand. Subsequent high-profile consumer and trade press coverage helped the company grow into one of the hottest hyper caffeinated coffee brands in the category.
